I haven't done the last couple challenges at Cricut Cardz, but I wanted to do this one because I just got Create A Critter and I couldn't wait to use it. :)
The challenge for this week is "It's a Jungle Out There!" Make a child’s birthday card using something you’d see in a jungle…monkey, lion, tiger, giraffe, zebra, hippo, etc, and any cartridges or colors you’d like.
I used Kraft Cardstock for my 4.5x4.5 card base. The background paper was from my scraps cut at 4.25x4.25 and embossed using Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl. The Giraffe is from page 48 cut at 4"...and the Hello is from the same page using the Phrase function button cut at 1.7" using the Imagine. Both the Giraffe and the Hello phrase were flood filled with patterns from Imagine More. They were attached to the card with pop dots.
Supplies:
Kraft Cardstock, Bazzil Cardstock (White)
Cricut Cartridges: Create a Critter, Imagine More
Ribbon: Celebrate It (Brown)
Recollections foam adhesive squares
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy crafting,
Jen
