Hi Crafty Friends,
Today at My Cricut Craft Room is Letter of the Day...today's letter is N. N was a hard, but then I found Nuts about U on Create A Critter and knew I had to create the Squirrel. We get quite a few squirrels that visit our backyard and every time we see one my hubby and I stop what we are doing and say Squirrel just like the talking dog in the Disney movie Up. Cracks me up every time. :)
On to the details of my card.
I created an A2 size card 4.25 x 5.5.
The Squirrel is selected using Feature Layer 1, 2, & 3 and cut at 3.25
Using my Gypsy I created an acorn border by welding 5 acorns together, these were cut at 1.73.
For the inside of my card I cut the sentiment using the Phrase Feature.
This is cut at 3.25.
The paper used is from the 6.5 x 4.5 DCWV The Pets Stack.
I have to be honest...I'm not too nuts over how this card turned out.
I think it's that blue polka dot paper on my squirrel that I don't love.
I guess you can't love them all.

I love the polka dot paper as the color contrast. I would never have thought to use a blue polka dot! It came out fun and whimsical, so cute :) love it :)
