Cricut Cardz Challenge #85

Challenge #85 Holiday - Anything Goes! Make a card for any holiday you choose, using any cartridge and colors you'd like.

For my Holiday card I chose Halloween using the Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge.  I got this Cartridge from Michaels when they had the Carts for $10...I didn't think I would use it much, but I couldn't pass up such a great deal.  Turns out I love this Cart...I think Hello Kitty is just too darn cute and love her in her witch costume. :)

Supplies:
A2 size card using Black Cardstock...I don't know the brand of any of my paper as they are all from scraps.
Cricut Cartridge -Hello Kitty Greetings - Cut at 4"
Cuttlebug Folder - Spots & Dots
CTMH Ink pad - Black
Sakura Gelly Roll Pen - White
Celebrate It Basic Narrows Ribbon - Blackand of course...wait for it...Stickles - Purple (surprise surprise!)

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #84

It's been some time since I've posted anything on my blog.  I would like to post more often so I have decided to try some challenges.  We'll see how that goes. :)  I found this challenge on Ready Set Stamp.  Thank you Julie for the inspiration.  The challenge is as follows:

The challenge for this week is to make a card using a monogram (initial) and any colors or cartridges you'd like.

Supplies:
Cricut Imagine:  Best Friends Cartridge
Bazzil Cardstock: White
Textured Value Pack from Joann's: Ice Cream Social
Celebrate It Ribbon: Brown
Colorbok Chipboard Alphas
My Pink Stamper: Fabulous Phrases
Close to My Heart: Desert Sand
Stickles: Frosted Lace

I created an A2 size card
My Cricut cut is from Best Friends Cartridge page 19.  I layered my cut and changed the patterns.  The background pattern is from page 41 and the pattern on the shape is on page 37.  I love how everything coordinates perfectly when I use my Imagine carts.  I hope you enjoy my card.  Thank you for taking the time to check out my creation. :)
