My Cricut Craft Room - My Imagination Monday

My card today is a Birthday card for my nephew using the Yummy Imagine Cartridges.
I love that I can create a card using one piece of 8.5 x 11 white paper.
I also wanted to try to create a card for a boy using the Yummy cartridge which is mostly girly colors/patterns...so here you have it.

Cricut Cuts:
Rectangle flood filled with the pattern from page 43 and cut at 5.5.
The Birthday cut is from page 23, cut at 2.0.

It's pretty simple, but I find making cards for boys somewhat difficult.

My Cricut Craft Room - Scrapbook Friday

Today is Scrapbook Friday at My Cricut Craft Room
With the wedding season upon us we were asked to create Layout's with a Wedding Theme.

I am slowly working on my Wedding album and was excited to get to show what I have been working on (to see my other wedding layouts go to my Labels: Scrapbook Pages-Wedding).
These two pages are exchanging the rings and the Vows.
Instead of having a unity candle my Hubby and I decided to do a Love Letter/Wine Box (this is the picture of us screwing a box closed.)  We wrote a love letter to one another and sealed them in a Wine Box with a good bottle of wine.  If we come across issues in our Marriage we are to open this box and read the letters that we wrote to eachother, drink some wine and hopefully remember the reasons we fell in love and committed our lives to one another in the first place.  However, the ultimate goal is to make it to our 25th Wedding Anniversary and open the box together to celebrate our love.  In essence it is kind of like a time capsule.  We are going on our 4th year of marriage and have not even come close to needing to open this box. :)

Cricut Cuts:
Elegant Edges - Button 4, cut at 8.81 x 10.76 (using my Gypsy)
All of my words were cut from Gypsy Font and welded together...there are a variety of measurments.

Here are the pictures again bigger...above I wanted to show them side by side.

Would you Guess Wednesday - Card Feature

Today at My Cricut Craft Room is Would You Guess Wednesday.
What does that mean you ask?
Well Erica from My Cricut Craft Room challenges the design team to use only the Feature Keys on the Cricut Cartridges.  We can also use a Cricut Cake Cartridge for a paper project.
For my card today I did both.

Our main task today was to use a Card Feature.
The card feature that I chose can be found on A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge.
Button 26, cut at 5.5.  I used the same cut for the matt,  I then flipped the cut and hid the score lines with my Gypsy.  One of my many favorite features on the Gypsy.

The bunch of flowers are from the Martha Stewart Holiday Cakes Cricut Cartridge.
Button 3, cut at 3.5 with the Shift layer.
To finish off my card I added some ribbon and stamped my Thanks a Bunch sentiment, which is from My Creative Time's Many Greetings.

Please go to My Cricut Craft Room to check out the other wonderful projects created today.

Erica's Craft Room 100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop Day ONE

My Cricut Craft Room 100 Cartridge Hop

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop
You should have started at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ if not please start at the beginning.

For the month of May I chose three Cricut Cartridges:
A Childs Year, Something to Celebrate, and Storybook.
I have a few projects to share with you.
First up is a two page Scrapbook Layout using A Child's Year.
This was such a fun Layout because my muse is so super cute. :)
This is my besties sweet baby girl Zoe's First Birthday Party.

Close up of the Title

Both cuts for this Layout are from A Child's Year.
Using my Gypsy I used the Font Feature and welded my Title together, cut at 1.21".
The high chair cut is one of my favorites on this cartridge and is button 1 on the overlay, cut at 5".

My next project is a banner and coordinating tags that went on favors made
for a co worker's Bridal Shower.
These items were made using the following Cricut Cartridges:
Something to Celebrate, Storybook, and Sweethearts.

Favor
The Base for the banner and tags are from Something to Celebrate...Decor Feature: Button 46 on the overlay cut at 5x6 and 5.43 (using my Gypsy).  The tags used the same cut at a 2.25 size.
I only had one sheet left of the paper I wanted to use after cutting the tags so I made sure the banner sizes would fit on one sheet of 12x12 paper.  I would have liked the banner a bit bigger if I had more of the paper I was using.
The font for the Monogram on the banner and tags is from Storybook...Cut at 3.25 for the H and the smaller letters on either side of the H were cut at 2.0. These were also run through the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  The H on the tags were cut at 1.25.

The Phrases I Do and Mr & Mrs are from Sweethearts.
These can be found using the <Shift> key.
I Do is Button 29, cut at 1.0
Mr & Mrs is Button 32, cut at 2.18.
To hang the banner I used Pink Tulle.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Your next stop is Kathy.
Here is the entire line up if you get lost along the way.

My Cricut Craft Room - 3D Wedding Dress Box

Front
Today at my Cricut Craft Room the Design Team got to choose to make a 3d box.
This was so perfect because I had a bridal shower to go to and I just got Tags Bags Boxes & More 2.
This cartridge is amazing and has so many fun cuts on it.
The Bride & Groom were joining two households and have everything they would need to start their new life together x 2.  So they started a Honeyfund where people could go to their wedding website and give them a gift card toward their Honeymoon.  Isn't that fun?!

I still wanted the Bride to Be to have something to open so I made this lovely Bridal Dress box.
I just did Fit to Page for this cut...added tulle and some bling.
I made a little tag to go in the dress letting the couple know what I got them.
The lucky couple are going to Hawaii so I made a Hawaiin themed tag using Stretch Your Imagination seen below.

Card Feature <Shift>
Button 8 cut at 3.75...I used the Hide/Countour Feature on my Gypsy to hide the card cut leaving the frame on the card to cut at 1 x 2.75
There you have it...hope you enjoyed my project!
