Here is my entry for Erica's Craft Room Sketch Challenge.
I am so happy with how it turned out.
The card base is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 with the corners rounded.
I then cut a square at 5 x 4, rounded the corners and cut a circle out of the middle.
I cut one more rectangle at 3 x 4 1/2 rounding the corners.
All of the paper used was from a Colorbok stack from Walmart.
My Cricut Cuts are from Create A Critter:
The cuts can be found on page 68.
The hive is the Accessory Feature Key, cut at 3.5.
The Bee is the main key including layer 1 and 2, cut at 3.
To finish off my card I added Glossy Accents to the black parts of the bee,
added my Sentiment that is from Pink By Design: Take the Cake,
and doodled stitching on each layer.
Here's a side view showing the fun glitter paper I used for the bee. To join the fun and for the chance to win the Sophie Cricut Cartridge check out the sketch and enter the challenge Here. |
